I can't imagine that there is anyone still running x86, and still patches their software every week. If you still need binaries for an old x86, you can always compile them yourself.

If nothing else, the fans on older units are bound to be giving out, and some of the older x86_64 processors woulod be cheaper than buying a new fan.

I'm sure there are backend processes built around it. Still work, no more supported binary updates.

Thanks. I question how many backend systems are using desktop based systems, or did I misunderstand your point? Am I missing something?
