LOL. That's a great idea about the SSD. Then just move everything over as I see fit.

As far as local Linux group where I am currently I wouldn't even know where to begin. I do have an old buddy that is a sort of Linux user so maybe he might have an idea. I can reach out.

serious there is a website called meetup.com

search it for linux user group -- its one of the few ways to find them.

They hold meetings once a month or so and discuss linux shit... They often hold a new linux users portion of the session... Jump in there and talk about the problem.
