Got tails on a usb, manjaro on one computer, and win 7 on my main. rate me

MX on usb, Antergos on SSD and no windows ever again. :) Hell I will admit win7 wasn't to bad though I didn't like their explorer sidebar much. I actually loved XP since it was so fast and simple witout extra bullshit like the start menu with a huge gnome like icons which made me have to remove them all. The simple library like XP menu is best with categories and then programs. Probably why I love the whisker menu so much.

Antergos uses Pacman huh? I liked that just for its name haha. You like mx? It uses sys v which seems cool. I have heard sysd was compromised. In the past I was gonna do a LFS and make a tails kodachi hybrid, but it is so time consuming and I have lazy tendencies, lack of motivation when it comes to the idea. Maybe linuxcoe is my answer, but I just found that looking into the idea again.

Yes it uses pacman but the gui is called pamac. Unfortunately Manjaro doesn't now so it's really turned to shit. Couldn't even do an update last time I installed it, or add certain stuff. It's got dependency problems with the package manager but unfortunately the best arch with gui is discontinued which makes me sad to see Antergos leave and be discontinued. THey didn't have time to keep doing it. I really hope someone takes it up again and not try to change the thing, besides the installer it's almost perfect.

I think Lubuntu is better but Xubuntu and Lubuntu mostly habe the same goals in making a lightweight distro

I use the desktop part with WSL. It's fantastic.

I think I might have to try this out. I usually can't stand Ubuntu but I think they got this one right. I had a lot of problems with their 16.x kernels but maybe they changed up for this one so I might as well give it a spin just for the hell of it.

doesn't mention arch in the linux.com article I read. I don't like suse they've hamstrung it also, debian to much work, ubuntu not familiar with it. Maybe if I could use mint it might be nice.
