Like it says, Nemo is for Gnome desktop users. It’s like the default Nautilus file manager and it adds—or brings back—some powerful little features.
I use it, but I find I sometimes have to open Nautilus to access files on my Android phone when I plug it in. Nemo might screw that up. On the flip side, clamtk is supposed to add a “Scan for threats” context menu item to the file manager. Nemo picked this up, but Nautilus didn’t.
