I happen to like fgrep. Use it near daily. Does exactly what I need.

Good. I wish they would just get rid of them and break everyone's shell scripts. Not joking.

Also, ripgrep is pretty good. It's an implementation of grep in Rust with an emphasis on speed, like fgrep but with all of the features of egrep.
