It's not a Linux-specific discussion. OP most likely used "bare bones linux" as an example of relatively "low-end" software. It was kind of a low-effort, low-inforamation shitpost though.

I think the low effort would be not paying for the good programmers and pushing out the non fag ones from linux is the problem, people that are just faking it till they make it but they aren't learning just faking so it's all downhill from here folks.
