In the context of this post, it is wiping out everything in order to get rid of the "woke_mind_virus" whereas the Patrick Smith suggestion merely removes the virus and the Elon Musk suggestion is an incorrect attempt to find the virus across a network, as if you could use "tracert" to find a file when it is designed to find a device.
