Too many options
Fucking serious? No wonder Gnome is considered such a joke. KDE ADDS features and people are happy. Gnome removes them, and tells us why we should be happy they did. No wonder Ubuntu adopted it as the new front end. One dumpster fire deserves another.

The logic as you call it is lost on the gnome leadership. If you want to be honest and logical gnome is the best TE "tablet environment" so please remove the idea that you are a desktop environment since you're obviously a touch screen environment and not a real computer environment as a desktop would be but a tablet or phone are toys and laptops are micro computers not something you can just order one piece at a time and just build from the ground up. Sure you might be able to upgrade but you can just order your psu, motherboard, bigger screen, though drive and ram might be able to.
The fool like the one at MS and Unity thought that phones would end the PC but in fact phones are tiny with tiny buttons and tiny screens for tiny people with tiny hands.
