SO...the time/date thing works now, but there is a bigger issue. My laptop was Win10 before my fren wiped it, and installed Linux Mint. I love it, but while I am typing suddenly the page will scroll down for no reason I can see. Sometimes all the previously typed text will disappear, and I have to start over. Am I hopelessly retarded?

Does it have a touchpad? Sometimes palm on touchpad counts as a click or scroll when typing. Disable touch pad

If you use an external mouse, you can go into the settings and check "disable touchpad when mouse is plugged in". That could be a solution, I use that a lot.

I use the touchpad

Why would I use a laptop AND an external mouse? That's really gay.

My new keyboard without a palm rest does these things you are describing. Stick with Linux, if I can do it, you can do it. Been Linux for my main rig for years now, but I do keep a Win7 machine around for Architectural work and Games. All memes I make, etc, are all produced on a Linux rig. All home theater is run from Linux. Multiple screens in multiple rooms, shitloads of different wired and wireless devices- all work fine. The only dreaded Terminal things I have to do on a regular basis are turning on my vpn and starting a driver for a drawing pad.

The down arrow key is trolling you.

I don't eat bread. Cookies? Cake? Absolutely possible. But the roaches would eat those, so..

I just tried to post a link to , then again to , but the submit button doesn't work...any ideas? Or am I just fake and gay, like Daddy says?

You have to reload the submit page to reset the form. You can't press back after submitting and expect the button to work.

All the other posters are wrong. It's the curry niggers at M$ who found out you have Linux installed and they are controlling your machine remotely.

I wonder if it is also them beaming voices into my head?
