XDM download accelerator was supposedly collecting user info "bullshit the media lawyers hated it". THe fix is simple and it's in url type about:config, then just highlight this and put it in the search bar on that page , extensions.blocklist.enabled, change this value from true to false then your good again likely restarting firefox will have everything working well again.
If you uninstalled the extension you can install at firefox website since it's disabled so add manually to firefox by downloading it "I have it saved from last year myself" browser-mon@xdman.sourceforge.net.xpi. Here
