Saw this article yesterday while fuming on the stupid decisions of kde and gnome removing the fucking titlebars. It's like every asshole in charge thinks a phone also DE is a winner "morons in charge, phones suck and Apple just got lucky on timing". They forget the real users, btw Enlightenment was the biggest garbage besides and Iphone gui I've ever tried and the morons thinking these faggot minded phone interfaces are great need to be put into special ed courses for taste in design, faggots are in charge it seems and MS on linux is putting the fox in the henhouse. Just so angry linux is being programmed into the garbage dump with morons in the lead positions.

well the fag insult was right then, like my dad and MEN would say when I was younger "She's on the phone again!!!" Phones are for bitches, chick tool, you know tiny. Tablets are cheap toys and all those toys need a separate OS so they need to quit trying to merge fag chick OS's with men OS's. It's fucking pathetic the fags in charge don't realize you don't toss an OS that works on the hope some fag will like you're enlightenment fag OS look. I want 3 windows all small and all responsive at all times and fuck the energy cost I'm not an environmental world is ending fag so burn that oil and fuck the batteries since if it's run with batteries it belongs in a cunt not run by a guy who acts like a cunt as in metrohomoheis. I didn't get 64gb of ram for running a faggy phone interface. I think it's time for linux to fork with fags on the left and real users on the right.

I use Linux and it does not suck in any way. I'm continually surprised by it's power and speed. Even on an older laptop. No BSOD, no crashes, no need for constant reboots. Very stable so far. Imagining Linux turning into MSM garbage is a sad thing indeed.

Yup, I've been using Slackware Linux since the 1990's and it just keeps getting better. I don't complain about all the different distros 'cuz I'm still using the first one I ever tried.

Yep , when I first experienced Redhat, I knew right then I had no idea about capabilities of a computer. I was using win98 at the time. I had a 450mhz pentium ll and I thought it was a beast! Lol
I was so much into tinkering with OS's back then but today I just want something that works and that's still Linux. Pop OS at the moment. Easy to use and does everything I need it to do without any bitching.

Is it just me, or are most of the issues he states (besides the Nvidia closed source driver issues, which is NOT Linux fault) issues that are not something 90% of users would face?

That is the problem, it's should be 10% but it's around 90% and I'm starting to think it's on purpose like that MS repository incident. I'm thinking there are key people that are able to push stupid ideas that make linux suck or to buggy for a newb to even get a chance to try it out. We gotta slow the growth and fix the shit that is irritating or really needs a tweak. Not just the kernel but the distro's have to think will the person that uses this on a PC like it or is it a pain in the ass as in to many mouse clicks for something that should be one. Does the user have enough control to do changes to personalize their own system. Does our system have something that might irritate a user "like scroll up windows from clicking or scrolling on the area like a toolbar, hate this , where the fuck did that window go and no titlebars means hidden"

Well I figured out what was wrong with my nvidia card. I was Manjaro, every distro I installed that installed nvidia server settings. The top save in Manjaro will not save, Manjaro is the only one a password box pops up one so you can save to the /etc directory where as Manjaro tells you you haven't got the authority where a password box would be a great thing to appear instead of an error message box. I suffered for 3 days on the only stable but shit distro I could use to figure out my next move. I got to really see how bad Gnome really was using a compiz screenshot of all the open windows and you click one to have that the only one in the center front on top, did have icon and drive shortcuts on the desktop one good thing but gnome felt like bungie babying me with limited gui options which drove me up a wall having to resort to the cli to get any real stuff done then having to move the active window to get the terminal and no drag and drop with one window on top you better hope their is an edge of the window you want unless you know a bunch of keyboard shortcuts the DE is shit for getting shit done quickly unlike xfce that seems to excel at that.
