No shit? Are you retarded or something?

Of course the Micronigger doesn't understand the facetious sarcasm. Why the fuck would I want to turn on "vim mode" in piece of shit Microsoft product when I can just use vim? Why use a pathetic cludgy clone when I can have the real deal?

Only morons trust companies like Microsoft and Google. They will get you to drink from their well and then they will poison it as they always fucking do. Give it about a year and you'll have Microsoft non-skippable advertisements when you start up your editor. Or maybe they'll branch it off into a more commercial version and drop proper support for the "free" version of certain "power" features that you've become dependent on.

You can keep your shit. We've already learned this year from CentOS what happens when you trust commercially-sponsored OSS projects. Literally had to switch every fucking CentOS 8 machine I had deployed to Debian 10 because of their RedHat/IBM bullshit. Free and OSS only from here on out.

Fucking idiot.

To use a modern IDE that supports easy to use extensions? A pleasing UI? Not having to waste hours setting up vim to accomplish not even half of what simply using a modern IDE offers?

Doesn't have to be code. Could be Sublime, w/e the hell else is out there. There's lots.

You're either an old boomer who refuses to change .. or retarded. Fuck off.

"A pleasing UI"

Hahaha... it's a code editor! Your entire screen should be filled with code, not stupid esoteric widgets that you have to use a mouse to access and other wasted space.

How long have you been coding for? 1 year?
