It seems that nobody uses Bitmessage. Perhaps is there fear or lack of comfort with the application?

If there is to be a better alternative, more secure and easier in use, for secure messaging, what would be the features required (give your opinions)?

Maybe it would be more succinct to ask what is wrong with Bitmessage that it does not attract many users for such a useful P2P tool?

I think of what development could be doing to solve these problems to make an application that is actually seen to be useable for many people.

Never heard of Bitmessage, Signal is popular.

A major problem with FOSS software is getting the word out and having people switch away from what they're using to the new platform.
