I really need to stop being lazy and switch distributions.

I had (and was happy with) mint mate, especially once I'd set up my aliases, options, etc. Had to install windows (for work), and it meant nuking my entire drive because windows doesn't play nice at all. Then decided to try XFCE... and I really don't like it at all.
