I had heard of lots of people complaining about Ubuntu updates being problematic but so far it had been nothing but smooth sailing for me. Now I understand the complaints. I spent all afternoon recovering the OS.
I think it may be time to look into a less bloated distro. Anyone have suggestions? I'm considering Mint or maybe even strait Debian.
