I know there were conflicts between Jack and other linux audio which were unresolvable in most distros back in the day. Have you ever actually used it? Like record multiple track, mix them, then play them back? Does it actually work in your personal experience? I wasted hundreds of hours trying to make it work. That's been a long time back. You can tell me, "I don't actually know," and I will not be offended. Just please don't be another guy telling me how great something is that does not actually work at all.
