You're right about Stallman, however note that the reason Linux itself became something great was because Linus Torvalds was not the same. He was more merit based and would even tell the best of them to get fucked if they messed up the userspace. It was almost with an iron fist until the last couple of years. I'm guessing he was overrun by snowflakes.

Agreed, Linus is definitely merit based. But yeah, I think pretty overrun. Although I think he's still done a good job with Linux all around.

Yeah, he had some great rants in his day but has clearly been overrun by zombies.
