Just tried it out for a short while and noticed some pros and cons to updating. Comparing this version to Bionic Beaver:

Pros

Installer is simple, basically identical to last version

For laptops, the touchpad controls seem better and now theres options to control how it emulates mouse input. Right clicking with a touchpad works better than ever

Printer seemed to show up right away without any faffing around

Icons on desktop have padding so everything aligns to a grid

Gnome Tweaks still works

Cons

Couldnt get gnome-panel to install, making it a pain in the ass to make desktop shortcuts

Even while using all dark themes, a few gui elements still show in white ( power down menu, right click menu, top right dropdown )

Couldnt browse Software Center, things came up if searched for but all the buttons for "Games," "Utilities," "Productivity" led to an empty page.

I like this version but am going to wait on upgrading my main rig for the time being

I don't know but I always found Mint a better Ubuntu, with less quirks and unexpected bugs, still not perfect but improved compared to Ubuntu.
