Yeah, I know. I keep asking these idiotic questions but I refuse to ask the Gallium OS community on Reddit for help.
Somehow I fucked up my control panel settings. It's still on he bottom of the screen but the clock, WiFi, Bluetooth, and other connection settings are no longer pinned to the right side. They're bumped up against the open program icons. WTF did I do to myself?

:-D

Every issue I've had with it has been my doing (so far).
My $150 Acer runs like a champ, otherwise.

It's been ages since I used xfce. From my hazy memory, if you right click on the task bar, there's a menu with an option to add a widget? Do that and insert a spacer (or something like that) between the programs and the icons/clock/etc.

edit: From the doc, in the context menu, it is "Panel -> Add new items…".
edit2: The spacer is called "Separator". You check the "expand" option.

I LOVE YOU!

I figured out how to add the Separator but totally missed the "Expand" option!!!!!!
