Sent a real, nasty scathing email to these scummers. The company that put me there has fucked me around for a bit now and last week they didn’t pay me for my earned sick day.

I sure hope that they don’t play games with my final check. With the extra time off, I am considering doing some good in the world as an activist. I looked up the laws, and apparently nothing prevents me from passing out leaflets on the sidewalk in front of the hotel—a busy thoroughfare I am intimately familiar with and thus where I would be most comfortable starting my budding activist career.

I think my first leaflet will be entitled: "Ask your hotel what they are or aren't doing to stop child sex trafficking."

I'm not SAYING that little kids are being fucked in there, I just feel that concerned guests should be given a satisfactory answer from their place of lodging.

I’ve always seen myself as an activist for children: Our most vulnerable citizens

Another informative pamphlet would be more geared towards out-of-town tourists who may not be aware of NYC’s bedbug epidemic. I would provide helpful tips and graphics to familiarize themselves with the scourge. Pictures of captured bedbugs in hotel rooms, for instance. Pictures of the welts typically left by bedbugs, etc.

Hey, I’m not sure, but I think I had heard a rumor from a friend of a friend that bedbugs can transfer Covid. Not sure if that is true or not, so I’ll have to print some sort of disclaimer with an asterisk and smaller print on the bottom. Much smaller print—I can’t let this valuable content about BEDBUGS not be the focal point of my informative flyers.

You’re missing the point: I already have a full-time job. Activism is about serving your community and, in this instance, giving them valuable information about kiddie fuckers and invasive insects that may or may not be lurking in a certain hotel.
