You are being disingenuous. The question as stated is "a child" not "your child".
If you decline to feed your child, you are guilty of murder. This is because you created a human being who is wholely dependent upon you for survival. Your choice to make a baby leads to your responsibilities.
A child that someone else created is not your responsibility. That is their choice to make a baby, and their responsibility to feed.
The post even referred to orphans. No sense arguing with this guy tho.
The whole orphans thing is extra eye-rolly. Term life is dirt cheap for couples of childbearing age because it's so rare for couples to die that young, and it doesn't cost that much to tide kids over until they can get a job.
Expecting me to care more about someone else's kids than they did is straight up exploiting my empathy. If they want to demand the right to my resources to bail them out of irresponsibility, I demand the right to dropkick the parents between the legs to motivate responsibility.
There were several safety nets for such situations before the government got involved. People act like there wasn't a world before big government. You obviously had extended family such as grandparents, aunts, and uncles or even older siblings. This is also a reason people used to have big families it was your insurance. Besides that you had church and private charity.
Anti trying to make it sound like you'd be stepping over dead babies or some shit.
