This is true shit. Government contracting is a joke. If an employee is full time and has any kind of "minority" status like disabled, non-white, gay, etc. is extreemely time consuming to fire people in the government. Managers must fill out a dick load of paper work and follow a bunch of procedures. They must collect documentation for months to justify the firing. So, what do most of them do? I have literally seen managers in major public sector tech corps straight up tell employees
We're not firing you, but we aren't giving you any work. You are going to come in, shut up, clock in your 40 hours, collect your paycheck, and go home.
It is easier to keep them on the payroll and push them out of sight than it is to fire them. No worries though, they always need an excuse to go over budget.
The owner of the business I have a manager position in tried to hire a nigger once. I flat out told him "No".
