Pretty sure it's Vegas.

That's not really libertarianism then.

Star trek isn't a socialist society. It's a post- scarcity society. Very different thing. As one has never existed ST guesses as to what it looks like. Marxists, however, attempt to present it as a socialist utopia.

The Federation doesn't have money, production is dictated by the government, there's no free market (DS9 has an entire episode about the difficulty of trying to acquire a MacGuffin through complex chains of bartering because there's no money), government run military vessels and their crew are the elite of society, and there's still scarcity...half the darn episodes are the result of scarcity of medical supplies, dilithium crystals, food (only under socialism do you have FOOD shortages), or spare parts.

The Federation doesn't have money

They trade and barter with non-federation. Capitalism.

there's no free market

When you have everything, there are no markets in the federation. They would serve no purpose.

DS9 has an entire episode about the difficulty of trying to acquire a MacGuffin through complex chains of bartering because there's no money)

Yes, the famous stembolt episode. They are bartering outside of the federation and for personal gain. Capitalism.

government run military vessels

Starfleet is military but they are not the only people with ships. Many in the federation have starships. In fact, cargo transport is heavily privatized.

half the darn episodes are the result of scarcity of medical supplies, dilithium crystals, food (only under socialism do you have FOOD shortages), or spare parts.

Yes, with them providing aid to other cultures.

Dilithium is a scarce product. They trade or work for this. Wars are fought over it. But most things can be made by replication. And many episodes are about none dilithium energy sources.

You don't seem to actual know what you're talking about.

cargo transport is heavily privatized.

What’s the incentive to transport cargo if there’s no money?

Dilithium is one of the few things that's scarce. It is the oil of the 24th century.
