It’s time for all good men to stop fearing.
Wonder how many here have ever read Atlas Shrugged.
Anyone who hasn't read it is about to act it out IRL.
Yes, and few get to the gulch. Hopefully, we step off the train before the tunnel.
Such a great book.
Long ago, when I was a long haul trucker, I traveled all across the country, and started noticing the landmarks which were displayed prominently in Atlas Shrugged. Galt, California. The train tunnel at Taggart, Utah on I-84, Touhy Avenue in Chicago, the oil fields of Colorado. Galt's Gulch was probably modeled on Taggart, Utah, a desolate box canyon with red rock cliffs and a small stream running along the railroad tracks. The few residential structures were spaced out. I stopped in Taggart one time and gave a paperback copy of Atlas Shrugged to the one convenience store's lending library. The guy running the store had never herd about the book. I mentioned that his town was mentioned prominently in the book, encouraging him to read it. Good old days.
