Has to be a unanimous verdict. Now the retrial with new jurors.
Judge did this to avoid a long running hung jury and to make sure none of them found out about jury nullification.
They will try to double jeopardy this guy even though the people do not agree.

Yup, one bought off juror prevents a not guilty verdict, forces the defendant to pay for lawyers all over again as a new trial is sheduled. A recurring nightmare. The dems want to make sure no one else wants this hell reigning down on them. If they can't put you in jail, they will make sure the legal process will be sufficiently painful to discourage you and those like you from exercising your legal rights.
