Hate to be that guy, but online petitions mean absolutly nothing in the real world. Unless you are a lawyer who is willing to help him for free, or are willing to step up along with many others to try to save his son, there aren't many options.

Imagine if the founders had begun a petition to gain their freedom/indepence.

When this guy's ex started this shit, a petition was put forward, shitloads signed it, and it ended up on the Texas AG's desk. I don't recall exactly what happened but the AG intervened at the time.

Maybe. Sometimes they go crazy after you marry them.

I personally know a couple, where the man's wife was loyal and loving for 4 years, then started acting oddly, commenting on visuals and odors that no one around her saw or smelled. After a few weeks of this, he took her for a mental evaluation, and she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder/schizophrenia. About three months after that, it was like someone flipped a switch in her head. She suddenly rejected her husband and children, and was a completely different person than the woman he had married.

That said, let's be honest; this is not the way. The father has A) a duty, and B) a guaranteed way to solve this problem. It sucks that the state has put him into this position, but a man protects his offspring. Period.

I'm not suggesting anything, but as a random fact, to the best of my knowledge, the only person who wants to chemically attack him is the non-biological mother. Maybe fate will be kind and she is stopped somehow.
