It's fucking tragic. I feel bad for her. This was not her decision; she was guided to it via drugs, peer pressure, and probably a bit of Project Monarch trauma programming (aka, grooming). This option needs to simply be taken off the table- it shouldn't be a service that is allowed to be offered. Any doctors who offer to perform operations like these should be arrested and charged with maiming-related offenses, and obviously lose the ability to practice forever. They are literally violating the first sentence of their fucking oath when they cut a healthy woman's tits off, or chemically castrate a healthy young man because "he believes he's a woman". This is so fucking absurd, I can't believe it's reached a point where this is "normal" to our fucked up society. I know I'm preaching to the choir here... but I always put it like this: If a man walked into a doctor's office, totally healthy, but he's claiming "I'M ON THE RUN, THE CIA IS AFTER ME, I HAVE SENSITIVE INFORMATION, THE ALIENS ARE WATCHING ME!", the doctor won't reply with "Yes, you are on the run, you'd better watch out for the CIA." No, they'd fucking diagnose them with delusions and medicate them. If a man walked in and says "Doc, I have two arms... but I think, deep down inside, I'm actually an amputee. I have dysphoria, and it won't go away until you CUT MY LEFT ARM OFF.", the doctor would not reply with "Oh, you are a trans-amputee, I'll hack that arm right off for you." He'd diagnose delusions and medicate, and help the man to accept the fact that he has two arms. But go in and specifically complain about your sex organs being "the wrong ones", the doctor will fucking agree. "Yes, you have gender dysphoria, very common nowadays. We can cut all of your dickmeat out, turn it inside out, and leave an open wound that simulates a vagina so you can have promiscuous sex with the most depraved of humanity. This will in no way turn out badly for you- I *am* a doctor, after all." Fuck doctors. I hate them. They aren't what they once were. They're glorified search engines today- and I think that makes them feel threatened. I can accurately diagnose most common illnesses with a little research and some basic tests. If I could prescribe shit and order tests, I wouldn't need a doctor *for anything* except a second opinion. When a profession begins to feel like they may be becoming obsolete, they will actively sabotage shit to make their profession "more important, impossible to do away with". Something like... a deadly pandemic popping up at a time when trust in doctors is on the decline is *just what the fucking DOCTOR ORDERED.* And the docs came out of it smelling like roses, for the most part. Maybe 1/8 of the world sees doctors for what they are, but over half of them literally worship them and defer to them in all fucking things. A doctor could tell your average individual "Eating your own shit is good for you", and within a week or two we'd see a huge spike in E. Coli infections, as people ravenously devour their own shit because Doctor Shekelbergsteinmann told them it'd help their backache.
