The prosecutor wouldn't have wanted me on that jury
If you are called for jury duty, don't play "dumb" but don't answer anything other than you are asked and very specifically, do not ask for clarification, just answer in the most simple way possible. They don't want someone that can think on the jury and will remove you. If asked something directly, NEVER LIE. It can lead to the (accused) criminal getting off with nothing.
I know it sucks for a number of reasons for being jury duty but if you can, do your part.
Was called recently. It was interesting. They had us fill out a questionnaire and it was pretty clear the prosecutor had me down to dismiss from the get go..... even before the nearly full day of voir dire.
