I may have overplanted zuccini this year. Last year was horrible, had 3 plants and probably picked 4 zucchini for the entire season due to it being unusually cold. This year I have about 8 plants in the garden, plus another that my son secretly planted in the greenhouse.

This was the first one, picked a week or so ago. Now we are picking 2-4 per day. This year is still a bit colder and wetter than I would expect, but not as bad as the last few.

I also have 22 tomato plants in the garden (plus an unknown number in the greenhouse).

Picking tomatoes from the greenhouse already, some set but not yet ripe outside, but the plants are now ~4ft tall.

Look into making green tomato relish, if you're into canning. Had chow chow recently, reminded me of it when I saw your comment. If you like sweets and sours, you'll probably like them. I prefer to look up and read a few different recipes, then do a few test jars with slight variations of ingredients. Write everything down, label the jars, let them age about two weeks and enjoy. Haven't had to throw any away, yet. They can be 'cold' canned, too. Hope you try it sometime. (It's a useful way to store food in a grid down scenario.)
