my wife and i homestead. we put in a 40 x 60 garden in 2022. by far our largest garden ever. we can, dehydrate or freeze dry all the bounty. already planning garden for 2023. edit: i can verify that any garden this size does require research and planning. and a shitton of work.

I do it! I try different vegetables each year. Last year's goal was potatoes (did well!) and this year's goal is to grow a pumpkin(s).

Bugs killed everything. If it wasn't white flys, it was some other kind of bug fucking my shit up.

My mango tree even has bugs eating it. If that wasn't enough, every time it fruits, I think every fucking squirrel in a mile radius comes to poach my fruit.
