The archives of files/pages that are sure to not last long are now shoah'd when the original gets shoah'd if it didn't remain live post-archiving for at least 1 week or possibly up to 2 or more weeks.

It used to be you could archive something and the page getting shoah'd didn't matter as you could link to the archive of it. Now, if the file/page you archived gets deleted and less than 1 week (maybe several weeks) has passed since you archived it, the archive is erased also since it was deemed to be "temporary" and temporary pages are no longer being archived.

Examples of archived things that will cease being archived if it was not live for long enough after being archived before it was deleted:

  • images/ebooks/videos that share the truth about kikes put on hosting sites that are then archived, but the original is soon shoah'd
  • tweets of someone saying something "controversial" that are then archived, but the tweet is deleted soon afterward
  • recently-made tweets by psyop patsies that are counter to the narrative and archived soon after said psyop and before they get scrubbed
  • jew injection studies showing the truth being published that are then archived, but shoah'd soon afterward
  • etc.

Before: 1) I upload an image to a temporary file/image hosting site 2) I archive the image on archive.org and the archived image is accessible

It used to be that the hosted image being deleted soon afterward didn't matter as the archive of the uploaded image would persist.

Now: 3) Less than 1 week passes (or possibly 2 or more weeks) since I archived the image and the uploaded image gets deleted/shoah'd from the hosting site 4) Trying to visit the archive of the image post-deletion now results in it saying it never archived the image

Same for webpages I've tried that were removed/made inaccessible soon after archiving them.

(((archive.org))) now seems to run a comparison between when the file/image/page was archived and the current date. If the archived file/image/page did not remain alive and accessible for at least a week (possibly several weeks) after it was archived, they will now delete the archive of the file/image/page also.

(post is archived)

On top of that, some pages are just unreadable now on the archive. I made a post yesterday about the Deagel 2025 forecast and the original page was removed late 2020 but could still be accessed from the archive even last year. Now, the archived page is still there but it's empty; it also redirect to another page. And the archive.today version is not better.

Everything is going down the drain. Fuck this world.

I've found that happening regularly to other pages as well now.

I also find that some pages/files I archive can sometimes take hours or days before the archive is accessible. Trying to go to the archive for it keeps saying that it hasn't been saved, but also, trying to save it again says it was already saved and a new archive can't be made for it for 24 hours.

Other times I also find that a file/page archives fine, but within hours or days the archive is deleted despite that the file/page is still live and accessible.
