Yeah, I saw that too. The music "industry" has always been there, but it certainly wasn't so dominate then and artists had much more direct connection with the public. We were indeed blessed. I think the authenticity is what resonates even to today, and that's why so many of today's youth have an interest. It's why I spend so much time trying to preserve the histories and artists on musicfor.us, so maybe some can see why that time was so important.
In fact, I had forgotten about this song. I think I may need to do an article on it. You're always posting so many good songs it gives me inspiration, so thanks for that.
I just get on a good old one and YT leads me down the path to others, many I even forgot myself - LOL. You do a great job keeping them alive though. A worthy cause for sure.
BTW, how's TheBuddha doing ... hope he's healing well. Tell him to drop by Poal someday, we miss him over here!
He's doing better. He took a month off, but has started back on his band and shows. He has started writing a little on playguitar.gq, so you can look at that.
The Friday Night Guitar Thread is doing well. In fact, Putt said he is going to globally sticky it starting tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. I'm sorta leery what attention it will draw from the idiots. Hate to lose the "vibe" it has.
