I'm not sure ... don't even know (or remember) that movie though.
It was a hippie film in the late '60's. Protests, free sex, drugs, ranting about the guvment, typical stuff. I remember it had Kim Darby more than anything. Funny how that stuff works out, huh?
Yeah, you know how lucky we were! Growing up with probably the best music ever. Most of it still relevant today. I read an article the other day about how kids today pretty much reject what they call music today and relate more to these old classic rock deals. I believe it.
Yeah, I saw that too. The music "industry" has always been there, but it certainly wasn't so dominate then and artists had much more direct connection with the public. We were indeed blessed. I think the authenticity is what resonates even to today, and that's why so many of today's youth have an interest. It's why I spend so much time trying to preserve the histories and artists on musicfor.us, so maybe some can see why that time was so important.
In fact, I had forgotten about this song. I think I may need to do an article on it. You're always posting so many good songs it gives me inspiration, so thanks for that.
