A White man sees this, runs over, extends his hand and say:
"Give me your hand, jew!"
The jew ignores him, splashes around and eventually drowns. Shocked, the White man goes to the rabbi to tell him what happened. Upon hearing it, the rabbi say:
"Oy vey! You should have said 'take my hand', not 'give me your hand'!"
