Except it's not a penal colony any more but it has strict rules as if it is. You clearly don't understand nuance or even the joke. You may get the parts of the joke but not the whole. It may not be your kind of joke, don't care. You may not like it, also don't care. But it's a joke nonetheless, however bad it is.
