I remember when I was working in a repair shop, the foreman put me in one of those and up on a lift while he was underneath. He told me to put my foot on the brake, put the trans in drive and give it some gas while holding the brake. The engine started freewheeling on it's own, it'd stripped the splines on the axle on the transmission end.
