Neither had I until my son and I built a coil from a Kit. Chinese kit included a 3.5mm stereo jack but no instructions. Soldered everything up and got the system running and thought, wtf is this plug for. Literally floored! Also powered lights wirelessly. My eyes teared up realizing 1st hand what we've missed out on for 100+ years.
