She can be so confusing. She's astoundingly based one minute, and then parroting the TV "news" about some idiotic nonsense [usually CHINAVIRUS related] the next! AGH! Oldfags!
She's not as bad as my mom at least, which is nice, I guess. I should call her, but it's annoying getting called a terrorist for not drinking leftist cool-aid...

It sounds like she's been scared by the constant fear mongering, it's frustrating but understandable if she's older. Fear is the mind killer and boomers are are scared. As for your mom, wew lad, I don't know what to say. That's rough, but yeah, you should call her. Even a terrorist's mother has to love them, lol. But seriously, try to avoid politics or whatever and don't jump at any bait, it's better for you both. But yeah, call her.
