MadTV was one of my favorite sketch comedy shows. The whole skit was hilarious (m.youtube.com). Bob was also one of my favorite comedians, his Button Down Mind albums are classic.

Yup, he's still alive at 94, almost unrecognizable now (ntvb.tmsimg.com), which, I guess is what happens when you get really, really old.

I'm surprised they haven't brought mad TV back. It was a career killer for many, but the good ones rebounded. Growing up in the 90s with it, while SNL slowly went down hill was great

I was there for the original SNL Not Ready for Primetime Players, Chevy, Jane, Gilda, Belushi, et.al., after them is when I think it went downhill.

The 90's did have some good stuff, In Living Color was another one.
