Buckley, (((Leo Strauss))) has an “early life” Wikipedia entry that is picture perfect. Born in Germany in 1899, Strauss was an “intellectual” with a degree in “rhetoric.” He enjoyed positions of prominence, including a role in the Higher Institute for Jewish Studies, a rabbinical seminary located in Berlin. He was courted by the (((Rockefeller Foundation))) in 1932 leading to his emigration just as Hitler rose to prominence. He inspired Henry Jaffa and others to “interpret” rather than report the facts of history, and he created the “right wing” of the jew dialectic that was matched on the “left” by members of the Frankfort School. The two sides have controlled the lions’ share of the ideological and political discourse for divisive politics for over three quarters of a century. His most notable contribution was to enshrine Lincoln, long a beloved icon of the authoritarian “left,” in the pantheon of the nascent authoritarian “right.”
