It's like watching a train wreck, you can't help yourself.

As for the "money", it's wrong to support/pay for war at all, no matter who's fighting. Think of it this way:

Tim: dad, can you buy me a baseball bat? Dad: Timmy, I didn't know you liked baseball. Tim: no dad, I need the bat to hit Joey across the street, he ruined my matchbox car and sprayed me with water. Whose side are you on dad, me or Joey's?
