Yep, another med based on false/ incorrect data. i only found out maybe 4-5 yrs ago that cholesterol blockers inhibit all the good cholesterol as well. They never told me that, lol.

Also , as i understand it, up to 30% of a body's cholesterol is found in the brain - it's the fatty substance the brain is made from. Inhibiting 'cholesterol' by taking blockers for multiple years - means you inhibit the very thing that your brain requires as you age. The elderly have many problems with memory and cognitive issues/ degeneration - lets stop one of the very substances that creates brain health/ regeneration. But totes agree with everything you said.

Actually, something like 90% of the cholesterol in your body is made by your liver. Your liver hates your heart and is trying to kill it with cholesterol, apparently. I recently heard that cholesterol-lowering drugs accomplish this by interfering with your liver's ability to make cholesterol. This is somehow supposed to make you extra super healthy. Just brilliant.

Their 'theories' are just that, unproven hypothesis. Regards the liver and heart, yea i have no problem with 90% of the cholesterol made by the liver - i guess somehow that number correlates with 30% of the body's cholesterol 'deposits' winding up as brain fatty tissue. I imagine the 'Experts' completely disregard it being necessary for the brain - if they were even taught/ told it in detail, and focus on the balance between good and bad cholesterol 'lining the arteries' as the determining factor.

I would say it's damaged fat/oil and sugar overload that are the two main contributors to artery damage.
