Longer than that. Many urban localities have regulations on how antennas can be places, and what they look like. It's been a thing ever since cellular antennas started to show up in urban areas. When I was with the Bell System back in the 90s, there was a big display in the middle of the plant with some of the equipment made by the company, including a demo of hidden antenna systems.
