The juxtaposition of this is a weakness in how many forms of Christianity are taught. Lower IQ Christians are taught blind obedience to God, and since they learn about God from a preacher, priest, or minister, they blindly obey their religious leader by proxy.
This has led to many sects of Christianity where new ones form behind charismatic individuals who interpret the Bible a different way, or even use different versions of the Bible.
Look at the major Christian religions, you have: Catholicism,Protestantism, Orthodox Christianity, Anglicanism, Pentecostalism, Mormonism, Adventism, and Restorationism.
Within Judaism, you only have: Orthodox Judaism, Conservative Judaism, Reform Judaism, and barely worth noting with 100k, Reconstructionist Judaism.
We need a new form of Christianity. One that hasn't been subverted and divided.
I'd argue Catholicism and Mormonism are not Christian. They have their own bibles and provide doctrine contrary to both the old and new testaments.
But I support your point and believe you are correct.
