I have tried to look into it myself and I can't find any logical explanation either, which means that both sides are jews playing jew games for power and control. Just like here, the jewdicial system is a very powerful entity to control. Reading between the lines I have concluded that some group within Israel that is not directly alligned with netinyahoo's regime has gained significant influence in the jewdicial system and Bibi's decided to move against them. That group is fighting back with protests, which are most likely paid agitators.
