You get a person reading a list of numbers and letters, and sometimes you get a reply from someone in an aircraft. There are repeaters all over the nation from that system, so you'll get groundcomm all the time but you may not hear any response from the birds in the air. There's no key as to what those codes mean, but they started getting a lot more active when those "balloons" were in the air.
