The whole 109 bit isn't entirely true. They were kicked out of Italy 8 times before the birth of Christ.

If we tally how many times they were kicked out altogether it would be far higher.

There's got to be a better list that the one linked to but it was the first result and I went with it. If one were to count countries, cities, regions, the list would be five times longer. I was just curious to see how many of them they'd slithered back to.
