Right-click on the Search Box. On the menu that pops up, choose "Search" and expand it. Uncheck "Show Search Highlights". No more jew shit.

If its really a concern, check them out on crossover. and see if they are supported there, if so, with some bucks you could get away from windoze easy. without bucks if you are savvy.
