So I was thinking

those who hate Christ, please stand up

But then I remembered the research into Messianism - the idea that a religious following has a savior to come, a messiah, and save them. The very word "messiah" is hebrew and was really made a thing by the jews, especially Messianic Judaism.

I then read more - jews apparently have had several messiahs throughout - whether it was because they rebuilt the temple a 2nd time or simply lead the jews out of a situation they'd have been wiped out of and into 'salvation', if even temporary.

So, Jesus was a prophet, and could have been a messiah to them, but He went against their current judaic law and upset the tables. Groups started to form around Jesus, arguing against those in charge that he was in fact a messiah and should be treated as such. The jews persecuted these jewish, Jesus-cult members, up to and including killing their messiah. And thus started Christianity when the Jesus-cult then claimed their messiah was true since He was risen again, resurrected, and proved that He was divine.

Point being, is this all still jew tricks, to this very day? Anywhere I can expand on these ideas and research?
