And jesus was circumcised because?

Because his step-dad was a Jew. How do you not know this? His step-dad was a direct Descendant of King David. It's right there in the New Testament.

And his mother was? Mormon maybe?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary,_mother_of_Jesus#Names_and_titles

>Mary's name in the original manuscripts of the New Testament was based on her original Aramaic name מרים, transliterated as Maryam or Mariam.[15] The English name Mary comes from the Greek Μαρία, a shortened form of the name Μαριάμ. Both Μαρία and Μαριάμ appear in the New Testament.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maryam_(name)

>Maryam or Mariam is the Aramaic form of the biblical name Miriam (the name of the prophetess Miriam, the sister of Moses). It is notably the name of Mary the mother of Jesus.[1][2][3] The spelling in the Semitic abjads is mrym (Hebrew מרים, Aramaic ܡܪܝܡ, Arabic مريم), which may be transliterated in a number of ways (Miryam, Miriyam, Mirijam, Marium, Maryam, Mariyam, Marijam, Meryem, Merjeme, etc.) Via its use in the New Testament the name has been adopted worldwide, especially in Roman Catholicism, but also in Eastern Christianity, in Protestantism, and in Islam. In Latin Christianity, the Greek form Mariam was adopted as latinate Maria (whence French Marie and English Mary). Forms retaining the final -m are found throughout the Middle East, in Arabic, Armenian, Georgian, Urdu, and Persian, as well as the Horn of Africa, including Amharic, Tigrinya, and Somali, Turkish and Azerbaijani Məryəm and in Malayalam as Mariyam in south India.

And his mother was?

Jesus' mother was Mary. Why are you asking me this? Is it that you trust Poal more than Wikipedia? Yes Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, and people do edit "controversial" topics. But it's very much agreed upon that Jesus' mother was Mary.

Joseph was Jesus' step-dad, and he was a Jew. A direct descendant of King David. Mary was pregnant before she met Joseph. Mary was Jesus' mother and she was from Galilee. Galilee was populated mainly by Greeks and Assyrians in biblical times. But the entire area was an important part of the Roman Empire because it was where the Silk Road met the Mediterranean. So there were colonist from all over with different ethnicities and races living there. Because of that, Mary's race/ethnicity is likely Greek or Assyrian but it can not be confirmed. But we do know that she was not the same race/ethnicity as Joseph because they went to Judea so that Joseph (a direct descendant of David) could be counted in the census. Mary meanwhile was never said to be of the house lineage of David.
